About the organization

Rooted in Jinja. Serving all of Uganda.

From a village beginning in Wanyange, Mafubira, to nationwide programs in water, health, education, and relief.

Our story

Building a peaceful world through sustainable development

Dost Aid Global Organization Uganda Society was established in 2022 under the leadership of Jahangir Alam Chowdhury and Kitikanga Muhammad. We are a non-political, non-profit charitable organization registered by the NGO Affairs Bureau under the Prime Minister’s Office, Uganda.

What began with water and sanitation now spans education, health, cataract surgery, disability rehabilitation, poverty alleviation, hunger relief, employment generation, housing, infrastructure, mosque and madrasah construction, environment, human rights, and emergency assistance.

In a short time, homeless families have received safe houses, patients have received care, students have received scholarships, communities have received clean water, and thousands have regained mobility through wheelchairs — all delivered free of cost, with no microcredit programs.

Eliminate injustice against human dignity

To eliminate the curse of ignorance, illiteracy, hunger, poverty, ill-health, and all other inhuman actions which affect the dignity of human beings — and to provide moral and material support so people can live with dignity.
